The annual reports of La Capitol Federal Credit Union chronicle the past and purpose of an institution that has become one of the largest credit unions in the state of Louisiana. It is governed by Board members who represent the groups and individual members we serve.
La Capitol was established in 1961 to meet the financial needs of state employees. Over the years, our role has evolved to meet the changing needs of our membership which is now more than 54,000 strong. We offer a full range of commercial and personal products including checking, savings, certificates, and a lending suite offering mortgage, personal, and vehicle loans. Improving our members' financial well-being is not just a slogan – it’s a way of life.
