How to Earn Your Reward
Step 1: Open a New Business Checking Account
Visit a local La Cap branch and open a new qualifying Economy Business Checking or Performance Commercial Checking account.
Step 2: Fund Your Account with New Money
Within 30 days of account opening, deposit at least $5,000 in new money into your new business checking account.
- Deposit $5,000 to qualify for a $500 reward
- Deposit $25,000 or more to qualify for a $650 reward
New money cannot be funds currently held by La Cap or transferred from an existing La Cap account.
Step 3: Enroll in Online Banking
Enroll your new business checking account in La Cap Online Banking.
Step 4: Maintain Your Required Balance
During the 60 days following your initial funding period, maintain the required daily balance associated with your selected reward:
- $500 reward: Maintain a required daily balance of at least $5,000
- $650 reward: Maintain a required daily balance of at least $25,000
Step 5: Complete Qualifying Transactions
Complete five posted qualifying transactions.
Qualifying transactions include:
- POS debit card purchases
- Online purchases
- ACH credits
- Bill payments
- Wire transfers, credit or debit
After all promotional requirements have been completed, including the 60-day balance maintenance requirement, your reward will be deposited into your business checking account within 15 days.

Who is eligible for this offer?
This offer is available to new or existing La Capitol members who do not currently have a business or commercial checking account, have not closed one within the past 90 days, and have not had a business or commercial checking account closed with a negative balance within the past three (3) years.

Can I qualify with more than one business?
Yes. Limit one reward per business. Owners of multiple businesses may qualify by meeting all offer requirements separately for each eligible business checking account.

What is considered new money?
New money is money not currently held by La Capitol Federal Credit Union. Funds transferred from existing La Cap accounts do not qualify.

What happens if my balance drops below the required amount?
To qualify for the reward, you must maintain the required daily balance associated with your selected reward throughout the 60-day maintenance period. If your balance falls below that amount during the maintenance period, you will not qualify for the promotional reward.

When will I receive my reward?
After you have completed all promotional requirements—including funding your account with the required amount of new money, maintaining the applicable required daily balance for 60 days, enrolling in Online Banking, and completing five posted qualifying transactions—your reward will be deposited into your business checking account within 15 days.

Do I Have to Enroll in Online Banking?
Yes. Enrollment in La Cap Online Banking is required to qualify for the promotional reward, along with depositing the required amount of new money, maintaining the applicable required daily balance for 60 days, and completing five posted qualifying transactions.
Disclosures:
Open a new Economy Business Checking account or a new Performance Commercial Checking account and receive a $500 or $650 reward by completing the following requirements: (i) within 30 days of account opening, fund the account with new money not currently held by La Capitol ($5,000 for the $500 reward or $25,000 for the $650 reward); (ii) enroll in online banking; (iii) beginning on the date the required funding amount is deposited, maintain a minimum daily balance of $5,000 for the $500 reward or $25,000 for the $650 reward for the next 60 consecutive days; and (iv) complete five (5) posted qualifying transactions. Qualifying transactions include POS debit card purchases, online purchases, wire transfers (credit or debit), bill payments, and ACH credits. If all requirements are met, the reward will be deposited into the business checking account within 15 days after the 60-day balance maintenance requirement has been satisfied. For Performance Commercial Checking, the standard monthly service fee will be waived during the promotional period if the required minimum daily balance of $25,000 is maintained.
